We offer both in house and virtual options for helping your supporters and staff better understand behavior - which keeps everyone safer! - how to set dogs in your shelter or rescue up for success, and how to keep newly adopted dogs in their new homes.
Services including, but not limited to:

JHPT’s Krissi has experience with a broad range of shelter behavior programming, and offers this service. She helped to found Jackson’s Animal Adoption Center in 2003. After departing in 2008, she began volunteering for Western Border Collie Rescue as a foster, and was soon after helping coordinate operations for this growing regional all-volunteer foster-based non-profit until 2024. She assumed the role of Behavior and Training Manager at Second Chance Humane Society in Ridgway, Colorado for the winter of 2020-2021 to help develop their Behavior Program. The past few years, Krissi collaborated with Aska’s Animals and helped with build Aska’s Animals Canine Behavior Support Program.
